"Meet the Giant Eoksae Rabbit for the Gyemyo Year at World Cup Park"
World Cup Park, 8m Eoksae Rabbit and New Year Wish Messages Exhibition
[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] The Seoul Western Park Leisure Center announced on the 28th that it will showcase unique rabbit sculptures wishing for New Year's hopes in 2023 as a special attraction for citizens visiting winter parks at World Cup Park and the Oil Tank Culture Park.
At World Cup Park, a large-scale silver grass sculpture is planned and exhibited every year using silver grass, a byproduct of the park. This year, to celebrate the Year of the Black Rabbit 2023, a silver grass rabbit will be displayed at the UNICEF Plaza in Peace Park until the end of March.
Wish events linked to the exhibition can also be experienced. The events, "Writing wishes on wooden medals" and "Taking certification photos at the life-sized photo zone with a lucky pouch drawing," will be held until January 29 next year.
The Oil Tank Culture Park near World Cup Park will also feature rabbits welcoming the Year of the Black Rabbit. With various lights applied to crescent moon-shaped benches and shooting stars, it is expected to become a place where visiting citizens can create special memories.
World Cup Park and the Oil Tank Culture Park are parks open 24 hours a day free of charge. For inquiries related to the exhibition, contact the Western Park Leisure Center's Park Leisure Division or the Oil Tank Culture Park Management Office.
