Gwangju Dong-gu, Gyelim 2-dong Administrative Complex Center Opening
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Jin-hyung] On the 27th, Dong-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City held the opening ceremony of the Gyelim 2-dong Administrative Complex Center.
The opening ceremony was attended by Dong-gu Mayor Im Taek, National Assembly member Lee Byung-hoon, Dong-gu Council Chairman Kim Jae-sik, city and district council members, local institutions, organizations, and about 100 residents.
The Gyelim 2-dong Administrative Welfare Center moved from the temporary office located in Doosan We've 2nd commercial building, which had been used so far, to the newly constructed complex center located at Donggye-ro 68, and started operations.
The district was selected for the 2019 Life SOC Complex Project, established a basic construction plan, and invested about 4.67 billion KRW to recently complete the new building with a total floor area of 1,420㎡, consisting of one basement floor and four above-ground floors.
The newly built Gyelim 2-dong Complex Center was designed to enhance accessibility to administrative services, with the first floor housing the Administrative Welfare Center, and the second floor consisting of a complex cultural space including a Life Culture Center and a Shared Childcare Space for residents' convenience.
The third floor includes a multipurpose room and the Reserve Forces Dongdaehonbu, and the fourth floor houses the Village Sarangchae, Residents' Autonomy Committee office, and document storage.
