[Asia Economy Reporter Ra Young-cheol] Gangwon Province strongly condemned North Korea's continuous military provocations, including the provocation of military drones and ballistic missile launches.
On the 26th, Gangwon Province issued a statement expressing serious concern and strong regret over North Korea sending several military drones that violated our airspace.
In the statement, the province criticized, "North Korea has continued endless military provocations this year alone, launching ballistic missiles 40 times and cruise missiles 3 times, directly opposing the long-standing desire of our people for peace on the Korean Peninsula."
It added, "This is a serious provocation threatening the lives and property of the residents of Gangwon Province, which occupies most of the border area," and condemned North Korea, urging it to immediately cease all military threats such as missile provocations and military drones and to actively work for reconciliation and cooperation on the Korean Peninsula.
