Caught smuggling a handgun into Guatemala by customs
[Asia Economy Reporter Hwang Seoyul] A pistol and live ammunition were discovered in a shipment from Guatemala during customs inspection by Seoul Customs.
According to the Gimpo Police Station on the 26th, around 1 p.m. that day, an employee from the Seoul Customs moving cargo department found illegal weapons inside a refrigerator and reported it to the police.
The illegal weapons found in the shipment from Guatemala included one pistol and 31 rounds of 9mm ammunition, discovered through an X-ray inspection during import customs clearance.
