Police Arrest Two Korean Confederation of Trade Unions Officials for Unauthorized Entry into Democratic Party Headquarters
[Asia Economy Reporter Hwang Seoyul] Two officials from the Korean Confederation of Trade Unions (KCTU), who stormed into the Democratic Party headquarters in Yeouido, Seoul, urging the passage of the 'Yellow Envelope Act,' were arrested by the police.
On the 26th, the Yeongdeungpo Police Station in Seoul announced that they arrested two individuals on the spot on charges of trespassing in the first floor of the party headquarters after they entered the Democratic Party headquarters without permission in the morning and voluntarily came down.
According to the KCTU, as of 4:51 PM when they were taken into custody, five people including Park Hee-eun, the vice chairperson of the KCTU, remained inside the headquarters, while about 30 union members were sitting and protesting in front of the headquarters.

KCTU officials entered the headquarters around 8 AM that day, demanding the amendment of Articles 2 and 3 of the Labor Union Act (Yellow Envelope Act) and requested a meeting with the party leader.
