KSD Nanum Foundation Donates Sponsorship Funds for Vulnerable Groups' Self-Reliance Support Project Competition

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Minji Lee] The KSD Nanum Foundation of Korea Securities Depository (Chairman Myungho Lee) announced on the 26th that it has donated 170 million KRW in sponsorship funds for the 'Maeumium Public Contest Project' to the Community Chest of Korea.
This project has been conducted since 2019 as a customized social welfare initiative aimed at creating jobs and strengthening the self-reliance foundation for vulnerable groups.
In collaboration with the Community Chest, the foundation held a public contest and evaluation, selecting one project in the youth preparing for independence sector and three projects in the fields of burn-disabled and developmentally disabled persons this year. The selected project implementing organizations will each receive 40 to 50 million KRW in project funds to carry out support projects for the respective beneficiaries over the course of one year.
