Hana Securities Launches Two US Tech Top 10 ETNs
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Jung-yoon] Hana Securities announced on the 26th that it has newly launched exchange-traded notes (ETNs) that allow leveraged investment in the top 10 companies listed on the US Nasdaq Stock Exchange.
Hana Solactive US Tech Top 10 ETN(H) and Hana Solactive 2X US Tech Top 10 ETN(H) are products that track the Solactive US Tech Top 10 Index NTR, developed by the index developer Solactive. The Solactive US Tech Top 10 Index NTR selects the top 10 companies by market capitalization listed on the NASDAQ exchange and allocates weights based on free-float market capitalization weighting.
Both US Tech Top 10 ETNs are designed as currency-hedged products to eliminate exposure to the KRW-USD exchange rate and link only to index fluctuations. Hana Securities provides liquidity (LP) directly.
Cha Ki-hyun, Vice President of Hana Securities, said, "Hana Securities is expanding its lineup by launching various thematic products such as carbon-neutral environment, social, and governance (ESG) ETNs and US Tech Top 10 ETNs," adding, "We will do our best to timely introduce products that investors are interested in."
