View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Oh Gyumin] Korean Air announced on the 26th that it will introduce an 'in-flight meal pre-order service' starting January 1st next year for customers traveling in Prestige Class on international flights departing from Korea.
This service allows passengers to select their desired in-flight meal in advance and applies to all international routes departing from Korea, except for some routes under 1 hour and 30 minutes such as Incheon-Fukuoka and Incheon-Dalian. Reservations can be made free of charge through the Korean Air website and mobile application (app) from 60 days to 24 hours before the flight departure.
Additionally, when using the service, 2 to 3 special menu items that are only available through pre-order will be offered alongside the regular in-flight menu at each meal service time.
