BNK Financial, Six Candidates Selected for First Round CEO Screening
PT and reputation checks completed to narrow down the second candidate pool
Final candidate selection after mid-January next year
[Asia Economy Reporter Minwoo Lee] BNK Financial Group has shortlisted the first-round candidates for the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) position.
On the 23rd, BNK Financial Group announced that it held the Executive Candidate Recommendation Committee (hereafter, the Committee) the previous day and selected six candidates for the first round of CEO candidates. Applications were received and screened based on the CEO candidate pool confirmed by the Committee on the 13th.
They plan to conduct presentations (PT) and interview evaluations for these candidates, and combine the results with external reputation checks to narrow down to the second-round candidates. Considering that the next Committee meeting will take about two weeks for reputation checks through an external advisory agency, it is scheduled to be held on January 12 next year. Subsequently, an additional Committee meeting will be held within the same month to conduct in-depth interviews, select the final candidate, and recommend them to the board of directors.
