The failure initially occurred at Konkuk University Station at 3:29 PM, and after all passengers were evacuated and the train was being moved to the depot, another failure occurred again at Children's Grand Park Station.
The company immediately formed an on-site response team and is doing its best to restore the service. Currently, train operations on Line 7 upper track between Cheongdam Station and Taereung Entrance Station are suspended. Line 7 lower track trains (Jangam → Onsu direction) are operating normally.
