On the 21st, Judge Kim In-taek of the Seoul Eastern District Court issued an arrest warrant for Mr. A, in his 60s, who is charged with attempted murder and violating the Stalking Punishment Act, citing "risk of flight."
Mr. A is accused of wielding a weapon and seriously injuring a woman in her 50s, Ms. B, at a bus stop in Seongnae-dong around 4:50 p.m. on the 19th. It is reported that Mr. A told the police he committed the crime because Ms. B repeatedly refused his requests to meet.
