Kosen (CEO Youngha Lim) is a company possessing core technologies in quality inspection of domestic and international nuclear power plants and other plants, as well as concrete testing.
Located on a 2,981㎡ site within the Dongnam Industrial Complex in Jangan-eup, Gijang-gun, Kosen plans to start with the opening of the Export New Research Reactor Concrete Testing Laboratory (604㎡) and additionally construct Building B factory (1,200㎡).
About 100 people, including County Governor Jongbok Jeong, county council members, and officials from the Korea Atomic Energy Research Institute, attended the completion ceremony to celebrate Kosen’s new start in the Dongnam Industrial Complex and encourage company representatives.
Gijang-gun Governor Jongbok Jeong said in his congratulatory speech, “I am very pleased that a company like Kosen, which possesses core technologies in the nuclear power field, has settled in our Dongnam Industrial Complex,” and added, “I hope Kosen and Gijang-gun will grow together in the Dongnam Industrial Complex in the future.”
The Dongnam Industrial Complex is being developed on approximately 1.48 million㎡ (450,000 pyeong) in the Jangan-eup area of Gijang-gun with a total project cost of 428.7 billion KRW.
