Samyang Foods Donates 80 Million Won in Scholarships for Year-End Celebration
[Asia Economy Reporter Seohee Lee] Samyang Foods announced on the 21st that it donated 80 million KRW in scholarships together with the Samyang Igeon Scholarship Foundation and the Samyang Wondong Cultural Foundation.
This donation was made as part of the annual support project for nurturing talent by Samyang Foods, the Samyang Igeon Scholarship Foundation, and the Samyang Wondong Cultural Foundation.
This year, the Samyang Igeon Scholarship Foundation donated 50 million KRW as the Igeon Future Talent Scholarship and the Igeon Regional Talent Scholarship to high schools in the Wonju area of Gangwon Province, including Gangwon Science High School, to foster talent in the science and engineering fields and discover local talent.
The Samyang Wondong Cultural Foundation delivered 30 million KRW through the Wondong Cultural Scholarship for youth active in the cultural and artistic fields and the Wondong Challenge Scholarship to support youth striving for their dreams despite difficult circumstances.
