Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Gori Nuclear Headquarters (Head Lee Kwang-hoon) announced, "Shin-Kori Unit 2 (Pressurized Water Reactor type, 1 million kW class), which completed its 7th planned preventive maintenance, resumed power generation on the 18th and reached 100% normal output at 4 a.m. on the 21st."

During this planned preventive maintenance period, Shin-Kori Unit 2 underwent statutory inspections according to the Nuclear Safety Act and the Electric Utility Act.
