New Road Established in Gangbuk Mia 3 District... "Smoother Redevelopment Promotion"
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Hyemin] A road in Mia 3 District, Gangbuk-gu, Seoul, which had lost its validity due to long-term non-implementation, will be restored as redevelopment is underway.
On the 20th, Seoul City held the 10th Urban Renewal Committee meeting and announced on the 21st that the 'Mia Redevelopment Promotion District Redevelopment Promotion Plan Amendment' was approved as originally proposed.
So-ro 2-1 Line, a road designated as an urban planning facility within Mia 3 District, lost its validity as a road facility in July 2020 due to the long-term non-implementation urban planning facility sunset clause, as redevelopment projects had not progressed for a long time. However, as the redevelopment project gains momentum and the need to construct the road increases, it has now been re-designated as a road.
The Mia 3 District redevelopment project involves redeveloping the area around 439 Mia-dong, Gangbuk-gu, to create an apartment complex with 1,037 households. After receiving project implementation approval last year, it is currently preparing for management disposition.
