Muan-gun Conducts Safety Inspection Day Campaign
[Muan=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Oh Hwan-joo] On the 16th, Muan-gun, Jeollanam-do conducted a 'Safety Inspection Day' campaign around the Illo Traditional Market.
This campaign was carried out to spread the culture of voluntary safety inspections. About 20 participants, including the Muan-gun Safety General Division and Illo-eup staff, took part. Due to the increased use of heating devices in winter in vinyl greenhouses, mushroom cultivation houses, livestock barns, and residences, the fire occurrence rate has risen. The campaign aimed to raise the fire prevention safety awareness of residents through fire prevention activities.
Participants used promotional materials such as hot packs to focus on promoting ▲safe use of heating products in winter ▲actions to take in case of fire ▲fire prevention safety inspection rules for livestock barns and vinyl greenhouses to residents and merchants.
Baek Chang-seong, head of the Safety General Division, urged, "We ask residents to strictly follow fire prevention rules and response measures to prevent property and human damage caused by fires."
