E&Corporation Strengthens Environmental Business in Vietnam
Cooperation with Research Institute under Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations
[Asia Economy Reporter Hyungsoo Park] EN Corporation held discussions on environmental technology exchange and cooperation with the Institute of Economics and Development (IED) under the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations (VUSTA).
On the 19th, EN Corporation, led by CEO Jongwoon Park, along with subsidiary Hansung Cleantech CEO Jeongseop Lee and Daeyang Enviro CEO Hwangrae Kim, discussed ways to establish a cooperative system with officials from the Institute of Economics and Development (IED) under the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations (VUSTA).
Founded in 1983, the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations aims to unify scientific and technological intellectuals, discuss common issues, and carries out major projects such as science and technology education and training, policy consulting, dissemination of scientific and technological knowledge, community development, and other social activities.
In February 2020, Daeyang Enviro, an environmental O&M subsidiary of EN Corporation, signed a business agreement with an institution under VUSTA to strengthen cooperation in environmental technology and information exchange. Hansung Cleantech, a subsidiary specializing in ultrapure water and water treatment, established HASCO VINA in Hanoi, Vietnam, last June and secured a water treatment facility construction project worth 14 billion KRW from Vietnam Emco Technology.
