Gwangju Jeonnam Venture Business Association Successfully Hosts '2022 Entrepreneurs' Night' Event

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] The Gwangju-Jeonnam Venture Business Association (President Kim Myung-sul) announced on the 15th that it successfully held the ‘2022 Gwangju-Jeonnam Venture Entrepreneurs and ICT/SW Entrepreneurs Night’ event.
This Entrepreneurs Night event was held the previous day at the Holiday Inn Gwangju Hotel, co-hosted by the Gwangju Information & Culture Industry Promotion Agency (Director Tak Yong-seok) and the Energy Valley Business Development Institute (Director Lim Cheol-won).
In the difficult situation of corporate management due to the global economic crisis, venture entrepreneurs and ICT/SW entrepreneurs from Gwangju and Jeonnam gathered under the slogan ‘Overcoming the crisis and seeking new opportunities in 2023.’
The event was attended by about 200 people including Lee Hyun-jo, head of the Gwangju-Jeonnam Regional Small and Medium Business Administration; Park Jeong-hwan, head of the Gwangju Metropolitan City Economic Startup Office; Oh Soo-mi, head of the Jeonnam Province Small and Medium Venture Division; Na Gi-su, president of the Innobiz Association Gwangju-Jeonnam Branch; Lee Chang-ho of the Korea Federation of SMEs Gwangju-Jeonnam Regional Headquarters; Kim Kwang-young, general affairs vice president of the Venture Business Association Daegu-Gyeongbuk Branch; and other venture entrepreneurs and related organization officials.
Despite the ongoing difficult business environment amid the recent triple economic downturn, the event aimed to seek opportunities for cooperation among companies with positive energy, hoping for a ‘new year of overcoming the global crisis.’ Various campaigns and lectures were held to strengthen this resolve.
Additionally, a ceremony was held to conclude the year 2022 and to award those who made significant contributions.

In particular, CEO Kwon Min-gil of Able Store Co., Ltd., who gave a special lecture on innovative companies, attracted attention by presenting ‘Mammoth,’ a smart and innovative messenger solution for associations and organizations developed in-house as a work innovation item for associations, public offices, and venture companies in the AI era.
‘Mammoth’ is a communication solution exclusively for members and employees of associations, organizations, and companies, adopted by various professional organizations, currently used by more than 20,000 members.
In his lecture, CEO Kwon emphasized the importance and practicality of customized services necessary for introducing efficient work systems and innovating work processes.
He also introduced features of association-specialized work tools such as messenger-based collaboration tools currently used by associations, announcement sending, push notifications, ID cards, electronic business cards, and electronic approvals, receiving great responses.
