For Digital Literacy Education... Ulsan Office of Education, KT, and Ulsan City Viewer Media Center Sign MOU
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] Ulsan Metropolitan Office of Education will sign a tripartite business agreement with KT Busan·Gyeongnam Regional Headquarters and Ulsan Viewer Media Center on the 15th at 3 p.m. in the Education Office Empathy Conference Room for the 'Ulsan Student Digital Literacy Education.'
This agreement includes strengthening the digital literacy education project based on the mandatory implementation of 'Article 10 of the Basic Act on the Activation of Digital-Based Remote Education: Digital Literacy Education' and the 9th Ulsan Superintendent of Education's pledge project of 'Distribution of One Learning Smart Device per Person.'
The Office of Education established a cooperative system with the Ulsan Information Industry Promotion Agency, KT Busan·Gyeongnam Regional Headquarters, and the Viewer Media Foundation Ulsan Viewer Media Center, which are the business agreement institutions, through the Digital Literacy Education Development Promotion Team meeting on October 28 and the Digital Literacy Education Practitioners Council on the 5th.
Through this agreement, next year, for students and teachers of Ulsan's kindergarten, elementary, middle, high, special, and various schools, they will closely cooperate to promote ▲ digital literacy student education support visiting schools ▲ development and support of digital literacy education programs ▲ support for strengthening digital literacy teacher capabilities.
The Ulsan Information Industry Promotion Agency supported digital literacy education for students of special schools and vocational high schools, and KT Busan·Gyeongnam Regional Headquarters supported the distribution project of one learning smart device per person.
Also, the Ulsan Viewer Media Center supported the pilot operation of digital media literacy education such as algorithms, big data, stop motion, and coding animation for 247 students from Bangojin High School, Hwabong Middle School, Daun Middle School, and Nambu Elementary School from September to November.
