On the 14th, Kakao Pay announced that it had obtained the 'Family-Friendly Certification' from the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family. The Family-Friendly Certification is a system that grants certification after reviewing companies and public institutions that exemplary operate family-friendly systems in accordance with Article 15, Paragraph 1 of the Act on the Promotion of Creating a Family-Friendly Social Environment.
Kakao Pay explained that it established a family-friendly management operation system by improving labor systems and introducing various employee support programs, and was recognized for contributing to enhancing national competitiveness by supporting employees to balance family life and work life.
Currently, Kakao Pay implements a selective working system that allows flexibility in working hours depending on workload and operates a telecommuting system concurrently. In addition, it runs a sabbatical leave system that provides paid leave to employees who have worked for a certain period and a psychological counseling support system.
To support childbirth for employees and their spouses, Kakao Pay provides reduced working hours during pregnancy, prenatal and postnatal leave, and maternity rest rooms. It has also established various family-friendly systems such as workplace daycare centers and shortened working hours during childcare and school admission periods. Furthermore, it offers various welfare benefits including support for various recreational facilities and family events.
