Kwon Seong-dong Targets Yoo Seung-min: "Instead of Blaming Others, Reflect on Yourself... Excessive Self-Consciousness and Paranoia"
[Asia Economy Reporter Song Seung-yoon] On the 13th, Kwon Seong-dong, a member of the People Power Party, targeted former lawmaker Yoo Seung-min, saying, "When excessive self-consciousness combines with facts one does not want to admit, it becomes paranoia," and pointed out, "Former lawmaker Yoo's perception that the presidential side used all means to defeat him in the election is exactly that."
On the same day, Kwon posted on his social media (SNS), "I have refrained from criticizing former lawmaker Yoo Seung-min as much as possible since we belong to the same party, but I must correct the excessive and malicious remarks," he stated.
This was a rebuttal to Yoo's claim on a radio broadcast the previous day regarding his defeat in the Gyeonggi Province governor primary during the June 1 local elections, where he said, "At that time, the presidential side was really harsh to the extent that I could hardly meet party members."
Referring to the Gyeonggi governor primary, Kwon asked, "Wasn't it Yoo himself who used all means, including Yoon-sim (尹心) marketing, yet still lost the primary?"
He also mentioned Yoo's past remarks, saying, "'Isn't Yoo the one who said 'Yoon-sim is public sentiment'? Didn't he do 'Yoon-sim marketing' by saying he received a supportive call from the president at a press conference at the National Assembly Communication Office?"

Kwon added, "Before blaming others, he should look at himself first. He criticizes the president while pretending to be righteous, but his claims only serve to refute his own past?it's nothing but a comedy," and continued, "He should painfully take to heart the party members' criticism asking why he is solely focused on criticizing the government at every turn."
