BNK Busan Bank Awarded 'Best Corporate Banking Bank in Korea' by Asia Money
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] BNK Busan Bank was selected as Korea's Best Corporate Bank in 2022 at this year's Asiamoney Banking Awards 2022, hosted by the financial magazine Asiamoney, on the 13th.
After winning both the Best Small and Medium Enterprise Bank and Best Social Contribution Bank awards last year, it was selected as Korea's best bank for two consecutive years.
Asiamoney highly evaluated Busan Bank not only for fulfilling the responsibilities and roles of a regional bank but also for actively participating in discovering local startups and developing the blockchain industry, contributing to the revitalization of the regional economy.
In fact, Busan Bank has been actively involved in strengthening the competitiveness of the local startup ecosystem by establishing the ‘D.CAMP Startup Lounge Busan’ in April together with the Bankers Youth Startup Foundation and Busan City.
Also, after Busan City was selected as a blockchain regulatory free zone, Busan Bank has taken the lead in building the image of a blockchain city by managing the ‘Digital Voucher’ project in the financial sector.
President Ahn Gam-chan said, “Being selected as Korea's best bank for two consecutive years by a reputable financial magazine is thanks to the support of local residents,” and added, “Busan Bank will continue to make relentless efforts to revitalize the local startup ecosystem and coexist with the region.”
