Namhae-gun Social Workers' Night Event Held ... Conveying Respect and Gratitude
Gyeongnam Namhae-gun and the Gyeongnam Social Workers Association Namhae-gun Branch held the '2022 Namhae-gun Social Workers' Night' event.
View original image[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Song Jong-gu] Namhae-gun, Gyeongnam, and the Namhae-gun branch of the Gyeongnam Social Workers Association held the '2022 Namhae-gun Social Workers' Night' event in the large auditorium on the 3rd floor of the Women's Human Resources Development Center to express respect and gratitude for the hard work of social workers.
The event held on the 9th was attended by over 110 social workers and guests.
In the first part of the ceremony, plaques of appreciation and commendation were awarded to seven social workers who contributed to the welfare of the residents through social welfare activities throughout the year.
The county governor's commendations were awarded to ▲ Kim Seong-gyu, team leader of the Nutinamu Parents of Disabled Persons Association Namhae-gun branch ▲ Park Hye-young, manager of Namhae Nursing Home ▲ Kim Na-hyun, social worker at Changseon Home Care Senior Welfare Center ▲ Bae Han-sol, vocational training instructor at Gaonnuri ▲ Jo Hyun-woo, officer at Seomyeon Administrative Welfare Center.
Additionally, the Gyeongnam Social Workers Association President's commendation was awarded to ▲ Lee Eun-mi, senior team member of Namhae-gun Family Center, and the Gyeongnam Social Workers Association Namhae-gun branch plaque of merit was awarded to ▲ Ha Mi-ja, director of Namhae Cultural Center.
County Governor Jang Chung-nam said in his commemorative speech, “Despite the unprecedented infectious disease crisis, the reason why Namhae-gun’s social welfare policies have been well implemented in our lives is thanks to the dedication and passion of all social workers who silently worked hard on the front lines, staying close to the residents,” and added, “Namhae-gun will continue to strive to improve the treatment and professionalism of social workers in the county.”
Baek Kyung-soon, president of the Namhae-gun branch, said, “I express my gratitude to the social workers who worked hard throughout this year. I ask that this event be a time to encourage each other and enjoy together,” and added, “The association will work together for the unity and improvement of treatment of social workers in Namhae-gun.”

In the second part, the Harmony Festival, hosted by professional MC Lee Joo-young, provided a time to relieve stress accumulated over the year in the field and recharge.
