24 National Industrial Complex Employers' Associations Unite to Promote Winter Energy Saving in Industrial Complexes

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Companies located in 24 industrial complexes nationwide are participating in the 'Energy Diet 10' to overcome the energy crisis. The Korea Industrial Complex Corporation (Chairman Kim Jeong-hwan, hereafter KICO) and the Korea Federation of Industrial Complex Managers (President Kim Gi-won, hereafter KFICM) announced on the 8th that they held a resolution meeting for energy saving in industrial complexes at the '2022 Korea Federation of Industrial Complex Managers Performance Exchange Meeting' held at Lotte Hotel in Sogong-dong, Seoul.
This meeting was held following the 'Public Institution Energy Diet 10 Practice Resolution' led by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, with companies located in industrial complexes?regions with high energy consumption?voluntarily agreeing on the necessity of energy saving and joining efforts to overcome the crisis. Approximately 100 members from 24 business associations in 21 industrial complexes nationwide participated. They pledged to practice energy saving in industrial complexes by ▲ voluntarily reducing energy consumption by more than 10% ▲ adhering to the five major energy-saving principles ▲ and striving to spread a culture of energy saving within industrial complexes.
