Ulsan Fire Department Conducts Surprise Inspections of Emergency Exits at 71 Multi-Use Facilities, Catches 9 Violations in 7 Locations
Ulsan Fire Headquarters conducted an unannounced inspection of emergency exits in multi-use facilities.

The inspection team was composed of 68 senior fire officers (fire lieutenants and above) from 34 teams across five fire stations under the Fire Department, and the inspections were carried out simultaneously on the same day and at the same time.
As a result of the inspection, 9 violations were detected at 7 locations: 8 cases in multi-use establishments and 1 case in sales facilities.
For the violating establishments, 5 cases will be fined up to 3 million KRW, 3 cases will be reported to related agencies for illegal extensions, and 1 case will receive an order for corrective action.

Jung Byung-do, head of the Ulsan Fire Department, stated, “As the number of citizens using multi-use facilities increases during year-end gatherings and other occasions, we will strictly enforce a zero-tolerance policy during the winter season to ensure the safety of citizens.”
