KCC Distributes 'Safety Management Guidebook' for Safe Window Installation
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Jong-hwa] Global applied materials chemical company KCC has produced a guidebook containing safety management requirements, administrative tasks, and related regulations necessary for window installation, and distributed it to KCC window dealerships (special sales and I-MAX) and in-house safety managers responsible for window installation.
The KCC Window Installation Safety Guidebook includes all information related to window installation, such as the installation sequence and overview of PVC windows, major hazards and safety management measures at installation sites, relevant laws and safety document information, and safety accident cases. Additionally, it contains the internally operated 'KCC Window Installation 10 Basic Safety Rules,' repeatedly emphasizing the items that all workers must strictly follow for their own and their colleagues' safety.
This guidebook is organized for easy practical application to establish proactive safety management and KCC's unique window installation safety culture while managing safety at window installation sites nationwide. It also adds convenience features to aid user understanding, such as visualizing complex materials with images and enabling immediate access to difficult safety management standards, related legal information, accident cases, related videos, and document preparation guides through QR codes.
KCC is strengthening safety accident prevention activities through case analysis of hazards by construction teams and data analysis of each hazard to practically prevent disasters at window installation sites. In addition to producing this guidebook, KCC plans to enhance customized support and safety inspection and guidance management for high-risk construction sites and will produce window installation safety campaign video content in the future.
