Venture Association Elects CEO Koo Gido as Domestic Chairperson of the World Korean Venture Network
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bo-kyung] The Korea Venture Business Association announced on the 5th that it has elected Koo Gido, CEO of Aha, as the domestic chairman of the World Korean Venture Network (INKE), which supports the global expansion of domestic venture companies.
The World Korean Venture Network is a global network operated by the Venture Association, established in 2000, and currently has about 100 members active in 30 branches across 15 countries worldwide.
INKE carries out projects that support overseas market entry and local investment attraction for excellent venture startups in Korea with global expansion capabilities.
Koo, elected as the domestic chairman of INKE, is the CEO of Aha, which holds over 200 patents in the touch display and smart healthcare fields and exports to more than 100 countries. He also serves as the vice chairman of the Venture Association.
INKE plans to expand the connection between INKE and domestic venture companies by electing a domestic chairman from among the association's executives along with the overseas chairman representing overseas members.
Koo stated, "We plan to reorganize INKE into a business-centered organization and promote projects such as global continuous brokerage and branch planning specialized for local areas."
