Gyeonggi Province announced that Governor Kim Dong-yeon appointed Jo Won-yong, former Executive Director of Hyosung Group, as president of Gyeonggi Tourism Organization; Min Kyung-sun, former Gyeonggi Provincial Assembly member, as president of Gyeonggi Transportation Corporation; Chae Yi-bae, former National Assembly member, as CEO of Gyeonggi Job Foundation; and Jo Shin, former full-time member of the Presidential National Education Council, as president of Gyeonggi Market and Commercial Promotion Agency at the governor’s office on the same day.
Jo Won-yong, president of Gyeonggi Tourism Organization, previously served as head of public relations at Asiana Airlines (Senior Managing Director), head of management at STX Group (Executive Director), and head of public relations at Hyosung Group (Executive Director). During the confirmation hearing, he was evaluated as capable of strengthening management performance by linking his airline work experience with the tourism sector.
Min Kyung-sun, president of Gyeonggi Transportation Corporation, is a former member of the 8th, 9th, and 10th Gyeonggi Provincial Assembly. Through her activities on the Construction and Transportation Committee of the Gyeonggi Provincial Assembly, she is recognized as proficient in the relevant field and having a thorough understanding of overall provincial administration.
Chae Yi-bae, CEO of Gyeonggi Job Foundation, served as a member of the 20th National Assembly and as senior advisory member of the Public Policy Strategy Institute. She was evaluated as suitable to perform the CEO role in terms of reliability, expertise, and creativity.
Jo Shin, president of Gyeonggi Market and Commercial Promotion Agency, previously served as a member of the National Balanced Development Committee and as a full-time member (Planning Director) of the Presidential National Education Council.
