Amid Nationwide Cold Wave, Snow Falls in Various Areas... Lowest Temperature Minus 14 Degrees Celsius
[Asia Economy Reporter Kwon Jae-hee] On Thursday, the 1st, a cold wave will continue nationwide, with snow or rain expected in various places.
The morning low temperatures on the 1st are forecasted to range from -14°C to -1°C, and the daytime high temperatures from -1°C to 7°C.
Rain or snow will fall from dawn on the west coast of Chungnam, northern inland Chungnam, and the west coast of Jeolla.
Snow will flutter in various parts of Incheon and southwestern Gyeonggi from late afternoon to nighttime, and occasional rain or snow will occur on Jeju Island.
Expected snowfall amounts are 1 to 5 cm on the west coast of Jeolla, Jeju mountain areas, the five western islands, Ulleungdo and Dokdo, and the west coast of Chungnam (with more than 7 cm in some parts of Jeju mountain areas), and around 1 cm in inland Chungnam.
Expected precipitation amounts are around 5 mm on the west coast of Jeolla, the west coast of Chungnam, and Jeju Island, and less than 5 mm in inland Chungnam.
Fine dust levels are expected to be 'Good' across all regions.
Sea waves will be 1.0 to 2.0 meters in the East Sea coastal waters, and 0.5 to 2.5 meters in the West Sea and South Sea coastal waters.

Wave heights in the offshore waters (about 200 km from the coastline) are expected to be 1.5 to 4.0 meters in the East Sea, 1.5 to 3.5 meters in the West Sea, and 1.0 to 3.0 meters in the South Sea.
