BTS Jungkook's 'Dreamers' Tops US Billboard 'Digital Song Sales' Chart

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heeyoon] BTS Jungkook's World Cup soundtrack 'Dreamers' has made new history by reaching number one on the Billboard chart.
According to the latest Billboard chart dated December 3, Jungkook's 'Dreamers' topped the Digital Song Sales chart.
'Dreamers' ranked 9th on Billboard's 'Global 200' chart, which compiles streaming and sales data from over 200 countries worldwide. It placed 4th on the 'Global' chart (excluding the U.S.) and 10th on the 'Bubbling Under Hot 100' chart.
Billboard stated, "Jungkook's 'Dreamers' (the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qatar anthem) debuted at number 9 on the Global 200 chart with 42.7 million streams and 48,000 downloads worldwide from its release on November 20 through November 24." They added, "Jungkook is the first BTS solo member to have two songs in the Global 200 top 10, including his collaboration with Charlie Puth, 'Left and Right,' which reached number 5 last July."
Previously, Jungkook topped the Billboard Digital Song Sales chart with 'Left and Right,' a collaboration with American singer-songwriter and producer Charlie Puth. He also demonstrated his strength with his solo tracks 'My Time,' 'Stay Alive,' and 'Euphoria,' which ranked 2nd, 6th, and 12th respectively on the same chart.
Additionally, Jungkook's 'Euphoria' charted on the Billboard World Digital Song Sales chart for 91 weeks, setting a record for the longest-charting Korean idol solo song, proving its popularity.
Jungkook's 'Dreamers,' released on the 20th, has been topping music charts worldwide day after day.
'Dreamers' set new records on the global music platform iTunes by reaching number one on the iTunes Top Songs chart in 102 countries within just 13 hours of release, 103 countries within two days, and 104 countries within four days. As of the 28th, it has held the number one spot on the Worldwide iTunes Song chart for nine consecutive days and topped the European iTunes Song chart for six consecutive days.
With 'Dreamers,' Jungkook also set a debut record by entering Spotify's Global Top Songs chart at number 2, the highest position ever achieved by an Asian solo artist.
