[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Jong-hwa] Kiturami Co., Ltd. announced on the 29th that it has been selected as an excellent company in the heating appliance category for two consecutive years in the '2022 Korea Consumer Protection Index for Home Appliances (KCPI)' announced by the Korea Management Association Consulting.
Kiturami is the only company to receive the excellent grade in the heating appliance category of the 2022 Korea Consumer Protection Index for Home Appliances this year as well as last year. The Korea Consumer Protection Index reflects consumers' perceived quality of consumer protection for 168 companies across 34 domestic industries. The index was calculated through an online consumer panel survey targeting men and women aged 19 to under 65 who have purchased or used the relevant products or services within the last two years.
Kiturami achieved the highest scores in all survey areas, including the 'Consumer Protection Perception Area (70%)' and the 'Consumer Protection Practice Area (30%)', and was selected as an 'Excellent Company in the Heating Appliance Category of the Korea Consumer Protection Index' for two consecutive years.
Since 2020, Kiturami has led the generational shift of heating mats by introducing the 'Kiturami 3rd Generation Carbon Mat Ondol,' which has dramatically improved various concerns such as harmful electromagnetic waves and fire risks of the 1st generation electric mats, and leakage, bacteria, and water refilling issues of the 2nd generation water mats.
