Hyundai Engineering Wins Grand Prize at US LACP Awards for Two Consecutive Years
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Hyemin] Hyundai Engineering won the grand prize in the Sustainability Management Report category at the '2022 Spotlight Awards' hosted by the League of American Communications Professionals (LACP). This marks the second consecutive year winning the grand prize following last year.
LACP is a globally prestigious marketing research organization established by American communication experts. Every year, it evaluates and awards sustainability management reports, annual reports, and other publications issued by companies and organizations worldwide.
The sustainability management report produced by Hyundai Engineering received perfect scores in five out of six evaluation criteria (first impression, narrative, design, creativity, and relevance), earning the final grand prize.
Hyundai Engineering publishes a sustainability management report annually, and this report includes Hyundai Engineering's mid- to long-term strategies for sustainable management, ESG (environment, social, governance) management activities, and achievements. It was prepared following the global sustainability management guideline, the 'GRI Standards,' and also reflects the international standards on social responsibility, 'ISO 26000,' and the 'UN Sustainable Development Goals.'
