Changwon Special City Selects 72 Items Including Eoganjang as Hometown Love Donation Return Gifts
Thank-You Gift Selection Committee to Open Supplier Bids Next Month, Expecting Boost in Local Economic Revitalization
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Song Jong-gu] Changwon Special City in Gyeongnam has selected a total of 72 items, including Eoganjang (fermented fish sauce), as hometown love donation return gifts to ensure the successful establishment of the 'Hometown Love Donation System' to be implemented on January 1 next year.
On the 24th, the city held the 'Return Gift Selection Committee' for the hometown love donation and selected the return gifts and decided on matters related to the public contest for selecting return gift suppliers.
The selected return gifts consist of 72 items in 10 categories, including Changwon City's designated specialties, and include products from disabled enterprises and social enterprises as well as local agricultural products.
Among the selected return gifts, 53 items excluding Changwon City's designated specialties, which have suppliers designated through the Specialty Selection Committee according to the 'Ordinance on Designation and Promotion of Specialties of Changwon City,' and the mobile Nubijeon will recruit suppliers through a public announcement in December, select stable suppliers, and provide differentiated return gifts unique to Changwon Special City.
In preparation for the full-scale implementation next year, the city established a dedicated team, the Hometown Love Donation Team, within the Taxation Division during the organizational restructuring in October and has begun full-scale preparations.
