Gwangju Seo-gu and Apartner Join Hands for Apartment Community Communication Channel
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Shin Dong-ho] Seo-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City (Mayor Kim I-gang) announced on the 24th that it signed an agreement to establish an apartment community communication channel together with Apartner (CEO Yoo Kang-yeon) at the Seo-gu Office Nanum Hall.
An apartment community is an organization formed to foster a sense of belonging and bonds among residents sharing apartment spaces, to enhance community awareness and jointly resolve inconveniences in daily life.
This agreement centers on building a two-way communication system between Seo-gu and apartments through an app developed by Apartner Co., Ltd., and providing smart management services for multi-family housing.
It also includes delivering official documents electronically between Seo-gu, apartment management offices, and communities, promoting district administration, collecting residents’ opinions, and supporting customized apartment community operations through channels for each group.
Residents can use the app to access non-face-to-face services such as checking management fees, electricity usage, reporting complaints or defects, and reserving visitor vehicles.
Through the residents’ bulletin board, various community activities such as club meetings, sharing secondhand goods, and information exchange will also be possible.
Apartment management offices will provide non-face-to-face electronic services including announcements, major schedules, surveys, electronic voting, and AI voice guidance broadcasts.
Seo-gu and Apartner Co., Ltd. plan to pilot the agreement contents in eight apartment complexes within the district and then provide free service support to all apartments in Seo-gu starting next year.
Kim I-gang, Mayor of Seo-gu, said, “Through this business agreement, we have strived to provide more convenient smart services to residents of multi-family housing in Seo-gu,” and added, “We hope that a culture of free gatherings and sharing among communities will be formed and that convenience in daily life will improve.”
Meanwhile, Apartner Co., Ltd. is participating in the home smart power platform construction project led by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and the Korea Smart Grid Agency, and is sparing no support in replacing old meters in local apartments with smart meters free of charge.
