Gyeongnam Jinju City and Jinju Office of Education have signed a business agreement to expand the supply of excellent agricultural and food products.

At the signing ceremony, Mayor Jo Gyu-il and Jinju Office of Education Superintendent Lee Oe-sook attended. Both organizations agreed to mutually cooperate to improve the quality of school meals and establish a local food circulation system by expanding the supply of excellent ingredients produced locally through the construction and operation of the Jinju Food Integrated Support Center.
They also decided to discover and promote cooperative projects linking local agriculture and education through locally produced food.
Prior to this agreement, on the 15th, the two organizations held an explanatory meeting on the construction and operation of the Jinju Food Integrated Support Center to expand the supply of local agricultural and food products for school meals, targeting 95 public kindergarten principals, elementary, middle, high, and special school principals, administrative office managers, nutrition teachers, and other related personnel in the district.
