Gwangju Regional Human Resources Committee Holds 5th Plenary Session of 2022
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Jin-hyung] The Gwangju Human Resources Development Committee, operated by the Gwangju Chamber of Commerce and Industry, held the ‘2022 Gwangju Human Resources Development Committee 5th General Meeting’ on the 23rd, attended by 16 members including Heo Seo-hyeok, head of the Gwangju Regional Headquarters of the Korea Industrial Human Resources Corporation.
At the meeting, the ‘2023 Regional and Industry Customized Workforce Training Plan’ was reviewed and approved, authorizing 58 training courses and 1,827 trainees for the next year, as well as approving the 2023 business plan of the Gwangju Human Resources Development Committee.
Additionally, the results report on the 2022 workforce and training demand and supply survey and the major business performance of the 2022 Gwangju Human Resources Development Committee were presented.
Co-chairman Choi Jong-man stated, “Although we could not achieve as many business results as in previous years due to COVID-19, thanks to the interest of many committee members including the Gwangju Joint Training Center, we were selected again this year as an excellent regional HRD committee.” He added, “Based on the approved business plan today, we will do our best to operate the Gwangju HRD committee next year.”
The Gwangju Human Resources Development Committee was launched in 2013 and is currently conducting regional and industry customized workforce training projects, work-study dual system projects, regional innovation projects, and other specialized training projects.
