The two companies agreed to launch a Workstay service that combines accommodation and workspaces at resorts, driven by the increasing demand from companies adopting new working styles and workations in the post-COVID era. Accordingly, 'Jibmusil' specialized for workations will be established within Hanwha Hotels & Resorts' nationwide lodging facilities.
At the same time, the two companies plan to conduct joint marketing for their members and apply Allicon's space operation automation technology to reduce management costs and increase sales. They also agreed to jointly promote cooperation on the 'Workstay' business with local governments where tourism industry development is important.
According to the agreement, the two companies plan to first introduce 'Jibmusil' at Hanwha Resort in Jeju Island in the first quarter of next year. It will be available to both Jibmusil members and Hanwha Resort guests. The Jeju 'Jibmusil' will provide team-based focused workshop spaces for corporate clients and create workspaces harmonized with the surrounding natural environment.
