LG Electronics Holds Workshop to Support Partners' Digital Transformation

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Pyeonghwa] LG Electronics announced on the 23rd that it held the '2022 LG Electronics Partner Association Workshop' with its partners at its Learning Center in Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi-do, seeking sustainable win-win solutions. This event was held to support the digital transformation (DX) of its partners.
The workshop was attended by LG Electronics executives including President Cho Joo-wan and Wang Cheol-min, Head of LG Electronics Purchasing/SCM Management Center (Executive Vice President), as well as representatives from 81 partner companies belonging to the Partner Association. The Partner Association refers to the group of LG Electronics' partners.
At the event, LG Electronics and its partners discussed DX for productivity improvement, quality and customer value management, safety management, and ways to strengthen environmental, social, and governance (ESG) initiatives. They introduced major achievements this year such as cost reduction, technological innovation, quality improvement, and productivity enhancement among partners, and selected and awarded 12 outstanding partner companies.
President Cho said, "We will actively support the establishment of smart factory solutions and automation systems so that our partners can secure world-class manufacturing competitiveness and continue to grow."

To promote mutual growth with its partners, LG Electronics has established and is implementing five major tasks for win-win cooperation, including financial support, competitiveness enhancement, next-generation technology development, education support, and infrastructure improvement. This year, to provide practical help to partners, LG Electronics launched the 'LG Electronics Partner Online Recruitment Center' and introduced various co-growth programs such as hosting excellent technical seminars.
