View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Noh Kyung-jo] The Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency announced on the 19th that Kim Hyun-jun, head of the Global Vaccine Hub Promotion Team at the Ministry of Health and Welfare, has been appointed as the new Deputy Director.
Deputy Director Kim, born in 1965, graduated from the Department of African Studies at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies and the Graduate School of Public Administration at Seoul National University. He began his public service career in 1995 after passing the 39th Administrative Examination and has served as the Medical Security Review Officer, Director of the Disability Policy Bureau, and Director of the Health Policy Bureau at the Ministry of Health and Welfare. He also served as the head of the Infectious Disease Control Center at the Disease Control Headquarters, the predecessor of the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency.
