Hwasun-gun to Host Academy with Dr. Min Seung-gyu on the 25th
[Hwasun=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Hyuk-jun] Jeonnam Hwasun-gun announced on the 18th that it will hold a Citizen Happiness Academy by inviting Dr. Min Seung-gyu at the 4th-floor conference room of the county office on the 25th.
Under the theme of "The Future of Hwasun Agriculture Changed by Artificial Intelligence," this lecture will present changes in agriculture and rural areas brought by the 4th Industrial Revolution, overseas advanced benchmarking cases, and future directions for agriculture and rural areas.
It was also prepared to provide an opportunity for citizens to have new expectations and live a vibrant and exciting life.
Dr. Min Seung-gyu served as Vice President of Samsung Economic Research Institute, the 23rd Administrator of the Rural Development Administration, the 1st Vice Minister of the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, and Secretary for Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs at the Blue House. He is currently a distinguished professor at Hankyong National University.
His major publications include Venture Agriculture: The Future is Visible (Samsung Economic Research Institute, 2003), Rich Farmer (Sam & Parkers, 2007), and The Road to Excellence (Jaum & Moeum, 2011). He has also appeared on numerous broadcasts such as "15 Minutes to Change the World," KBS Morning Yard, and MBC TV Special Lectures.
The Citizen Happiness Academy is organized by Mokpo National University Lifelong Education Center and invites distinguished figures from various fields to give lectures every fourth Friday of the month at 4 p.m.
