'Semicon Korea 2023' Exploring the Current Status of Korean Semiconductors to be Held in February Next Year
Over 500 Domestic and International Semiconductor Companies Participating with 2,000 Booths
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Pyeonghwa] The Semiconductor Equipment and Materials International (SEMI) will hold 'SEMICON Korea 2023' for three days from February 1 next year at COEX in Samseong-dong, Seoul. SEMICON Korea is an event showcasing the Korean semiconductor industry ecosystem and the latest semiconductor manufacturing technologies.
More than 500 companies, including Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix, as well as those in the semiconductor equipment, materials, and components sectors, will participate with around 2,000 booths. To support Korean companies' global business expansion, about 100 purchasing consultations with overseas device companies will be held. Overseas expansion consulting will also be offered through events such as the US Investment Forum and the Netherlands Tech Forum.

The keynote speeches will feature leaders from US-based AMD and Lam Research, as well as Belgium's IMEC, introducing the future vision of the industry. The SEMI Technology Symposium, covering key semiconductor manufacturing processes, will hold sessions by field such as lithography, equipment, and packaging, sharing new technologies and technology roadmaps that the industry is focusing on. More than 100 semiconductor scholars will participate as speakers in over 20 conferences.
