Jindo Police Station Transforms Surplus Computers into CCTV, Presents 'Certificate of Appreciation'
Protection of Socially Vulnerable Groups and Prevention of Incidents Such as Agricultural Product Theft
[Jindo=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Namjoong] The Jindo Police in Jeonnam presented letters of appreciation on the 15th to local residents who supported the installation of village CCTVs using decommissioned computers.
On this day, the Jindo Police Station expressed gratitude to Jindo Nonghyup and Mirae Computer for providing decommissioned computers and monitors to protect socially vulnerable groups and prevent agricultural product theft.
The "Decommissioned Computer Utilization CCTV Installation Project" contributes to preventing various incidents and accidents by installing unmanned security facilities such as CCTVs in villages vulnerable to crime.
Chief Ahn Hyeongju of Jindo Police Station said, "We express our gratitude for the active community policing participation, such as providing decommissioned computers and monitors, to make Jindo-gun safe," and added, "We will continue to contribute to improving the security environment by reflecting residents' opinions."
Meanwhile, the police plan to actively promote the role of CCTVs to local residents and create an environment for crime prevention.
