Hyundai Heavy Industries Group announced on the 16th (local time) that it won a total of nine awards at the 'CES 2023 Innovation Awards' announced.
The CES Innovation Awards are given by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA) in the United States to products of companies with outstanding technology and innovation, ahead of CES, the world's largest IT and home appliance exhibition held every January in Las Vegas, USA.
The products and solutions awarded to Hyundai Heavy Industries Group include ▲Ship AI autonomous navigation-based LNG fuel supply management system (Hi-GAS+) ▲Next-generation ship electric propulsion system (Hi-EPS) ▲Industrial complex energy management system (CEMS) ▲Eco-friendly high-voltage circuit breaker (GREENTRIC ECO 170kV GIS) ▲Construction site safety management platform (XiteSafety) ▲Mobility solar energy solution (HYUNDAI Mobility Solar) ▲Leisure boat autonomous navigation solution (NeuBoat), totaling seven products.
Korea Shipbuilding & Offshore Engineering received honors for the 'AI and big data-based fuel supply management system' that provides optimal operational efficiency for LNG-powered ships and the 'next-generation ship electric propulsion system' combining the technological capabilities of the group's three shipbuilding companies.
Hyundai Electric won awards in three categories with two products, including the 'Industrial Complex Energy Management System,' which simultaneously won in the smart city, sustainability, eco-design, and smart energy sectors, as well as the 'Eco-friendly High-Voltage Circuit Breaker.'
Hyundai Doosan Infracore was awarded for its 'next-generation construction site safety management platform technology,' which can prevent collisions between equipment and workers, while Hyundai Energy Solutions won in two categories with its 'electric vehicle solution product' incorporating solar power technology.
In the autonomous navigation technology field, Avikus, HD Hyundai's specialized ship autonomous navigation company, received an innovation award for the leisure boat autonomous navigation solution 'NeuBoat.'
