S-Oil Provides Heating Oil Support to Elderly Living Alone and Disabled Households
S-OIL donated 300 million KRW to the Korea National Council on Social Welfare on the 16th to support heating oil for energy-vulnerable groups. View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Oh Hyung-gil] S-OIL announced on the 16th that it donated 300 million KRW to the Korea National Council on Social Welfare to support heating oil for energy-vulnerable groups. The heating oil (kerosene) will be provided to a total of 805 households selected through social welfare institutions nationwide, including grandparent-grandchild families, elderly living alone, disabled persons, and multicultural families.
Since 2015, S-OIL has supported heating oil for energy-vulnerable groups who cannot use boilers during winter, sponsoring a total of 3,691 households with 1.65 billion KRW over eight years.
