Korea Financial Investment Association Conducts Winter Volunteer Activities at 'Somang-ui Jip'
[Asia Economy Reporter Hwang Yoon-joo] The Korea Financial Investment Association announced on the 16th that it visited ‘Somang-ui Jip,’ a residential facility for children with disabilities located in Gimpo-si, Gyeonggi-do, where it carried out volunteer activities such as making kimchi and setting up a Christmas tree, and donated 6 million won in sponsorship funds.
Since 2005, the Financial Investment Association has formed a partnership with Somang-ui Jip, a care facility for children with severe disabilities, and has continuously conducted volunteer activities and donation support every year.
Eight employees of the Financial Investment Association who participated in the volunteer work spent a meaningful time with the staff of Somang-ui Jip making kimchi, setting up Christmas trees, and cleaning the exterior of the facility to help the children with disabilities have a warm winter.
