View original image[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Jun-kyung] Woo Seung-hee, the governor of Yeongam County, visited the National Assembly on the 15th to meet Woo Won-shik, chairman of the Special Committee on Budget and Accounts, to emphasize the necessity of reflecting government budgets for major regional development projects and requested 100 billion KRW in national funding support.
He then visited the offices of National Assembly members Seo Sam-seok and Jeon Hae-cheol to actively seek their cooperation in securing next year's national budget.
Governor Woo proposed support for regional pending projects including ▲ establishment of a smart transportation management platform for shipbuilding and marine structures ▲ undergrounding of high-voltage transmission lines in the Daebul Industrial Complex residential area ▲ construction of a dedicated safety experience training center for foreign workers ▲ new construction of a modernized Rice Processing Complex (RPC) facility ▲ support project for smart low-temperature grain warehouses ▲ support project for non-rice crop cultivation ▲ improvement construction of Yeongam Intersection on National Road No. 13 ▲ establishment of an ecological exploration center in Wolchulsan National Park ▲ creation of an ecological park for the flagship species, the southern turtle, in Wolchulsan ▲ and establishment of a smart work safety management system.
