[Asia Economy Reporter Seo Mideum] A worship service for the recovery of our society suffering from COVID-19 and the Itaewon tragedy will be held on the 16th at Yoido Full Gospel Church.
The worship is hosted by the Korea Christian Federation and involves 73 denominations. Pastor Lee Young-hoon, senior pastor of Yoido Full Gospel Church, will preach on the theme "God Who Hears Our Prayers."
Prayers will be led by Pastor Ko Myung-jin (co-chairman of the Korea Christian Federation), Pastor Kang Hak-geun (former president of the Presbyterian Church in Korea [Koshin]), Pastor Kim Ki-nam (former president of the Presbyterian Church in Korea [Gaeshin]), Pastor Kim Man-hyung (former president of the Presbyterian Church in Korea [Hapshin]), and Pastor Jang Jong-hyun (executive chairman of the Korea Christian Federation).
Korea Christian Federation chairman Pastor Ryu Young-mo and honorary chairman Pastor So Kang-seok will deliver words of consolation and a poem of comfort, respectively.
President Yoon Suk-yeol's message of consolation will be read by Kang Seung-gyu, senior secretary for civil society. Jeong Jin-seok, emergency committee chairman of the People Power Party, and Park Kwang-on, secretary general of the Democratic Party, will also deliver messages of consolation.
