View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Minwoo Lee] Korea Asset Management Corporation (KAMCO) transferred its domestic public auction system operation methods to the Vietnamese government.
On the 15th, KAMCO announced that it conducted a training session titled "Capacity Building for Ho Chi Minh City Online Public Auction System Establishment" for public officials from Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, at the Busan International Finance Center (BIFC).
Through the training, KAMCO shared its successful experience in establishing and operating the online public auction platform "Onbid" and discussed implementation plans such as system installation and operation in Ho Chi Minh City. Onbid is an online public auction platform developed by KAMCO in 2002, the first of its kind in Korea, to efficiently dispose of public assets.
Specifically, the training covered ▲ the establishment and institutionalization process of online public auctions ▲ key tasks and business models of Onbid ▲ Onbid system structure and operation methods, sharing detailed work experiences and cases. Additionally, the online public auction systems and management frameworks of Korea and Vietnam were compared, and innovative tasks for Ho Chi Minh City's online public auction were identified.
