According to Mokpo Maritime Police Station on the 15th, at around 9:24 a.m. that day, a report was received that a fisherman B (in his 30s, male) aboard fishing vessel A (9.77t, coastal gillnet, registered in Aphae, 6 crew members) was injured on his right arm and fingers while fishing near Oebyeongdo, Jindo-gun.
The Coast Guard dispatched a coastal rescue boat from the local police substation to the scene, boarded B and his guardian, and quickly transported them to Seomang Port in Jindo-gun.
With the help of the Coast Guard, the emergency patient who was urgently transported was moved to a large hospital in Mokpo, where he is undergoing detailed examinations and treatment.
