‘Partner Competitiveness is LG Innotek Competitiveness’… Both Companies Establish ‘Win-Win’ Mutual Growth System
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Sunmi] LG Innotek announced on the 15th that Lee Yong-gi, Senior Vice President of Purchasing, received the Industrial Medal at the ‘2022 Win-Win Growth Week Ceremony’ in recognition of his contribution to enhancing the competitiveness of the national materials and components industry through win-win growth with small and medium-sized partner companies.
The Ministry of SMEs and Startups and the Win-Win Growth Committee have held the ‘Win-Win Growth Week Ceremony’ annually since 2004 to encourage individuals who have contributed to improving corporate competitiveness and national economic development through mutual cooperation between large and small and medium enterprises.
Under the slogan ‘Inno Winds,’ which embodies the determination to achieve the vision of becoming a ‘Global Number One Materials and Components Company,’ Senior Vice President Lee has established a win-win cooperation system where both LG Innotek and its partners benefit. In particular, aiming for cost reduction and new technology development, he systematized ‘joint innovation activities’ involving LG Innotek and its partners, creating a foundation for partners to voluntarily develop capabilities and generate innovative outcomes.
Additionally, Senior Vice President Lee expanded the ‘Win-Win Growth Fund’ to 103 billion KRW in 2020 and relaxed evaluation criteria so that more partner companies could secure necessary funds at low interest rates. Recently, the scope of support has been expanded to include operating funds for overcoming COVID-19 and funds needed for hiring personnel, supporting the stable management activities of partner companies.
